Job Title: Account Director

Location: Manhattan, NY (Currently remote with plans to return to the office in September with a 3 days in office and 2 days working from home policy)

Why this role exists: The Account Director will report directly to Haymaker's Founder, with a mission to provide experienced leadership on multiple client accounts, guide the firm in its growth, and mentor junior team members.

Required Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher
  • 4-8 years of agency or in-house communications experience
  • Significant experience with technology public relations, account leadership, and high-level PR strategy
  • Demonstrated network of media relationships

Objective Outcomes:

  • You will capably lead several client accounts by fully managing day-to-day communication, junior staff, and the development and execution of media strategy
  • You will secure client coverage by expertly engaging with the news media, and by systematically deepening and broadening a set of media relationships
  • You will actively contribute to internal company discussions to shape the direction and trajectory of the firm
  • You will provide world-class mentorship and career development for junior team members
