Location: remote, Dallas area, in-person hours required

Hours: part-time, Monday - Friday (15-20 hours a week to start, grow into full-time in one year)

Comp range: $25 per hour


Nomi Network's mission
Nomi Network’s mission is to end human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women and girls to break cycles of slavery in their families and communities. Nomi Network currently has program operations in India and Cambodia and is launching a program this summer in Dallas, TX. https://nominetwork.org/

Our Dallas Workforce Program will serve female youth who are either survivors or at high risk for commercial sexual exploitation. We provide workforce training, work exposure, mentorship, and case management to help girls build a career plan and achieve their goals.

Why this role exists

Nomi Network is seeking a responsible and emotionally intelligent individual to create and manage the Dallas mentorship program. The mentorship coordinator will recruit, match and train volunteer mentors with Nomi Network clients and support mentorship teams. This is a part-time position with the possibility of expanding to full-time within one year.

Required Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent cross-cultural competency skills
  • Excellent Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and ability to build trust quickly, coach others to build trust in relationships (mentor/mentee), and mediate interpersonal conflict
  • Experience working with high risk or disadvantaged populations preferred

Objective Outcomes

  • You will recruit, onboard, train, and supervise volunteer mentors
  • You will work with the Case Manager to match trainees with mentors
  • You will conduct regular check-ins with mentor teams, providing support, training, and accountability as needed
  • You will develop and scale the mentorship program as the program grows and provide process improvement
